A lot of changes are coming to Hennis Enterprises in the coming months. Chris Hennis has resigned as C.E.O. of Hennis Enterprises (H.E.) for personal health reasons. An old friend and business associate Wayne Bailey has come on board as my new partner. Wayne has been involved in H.E. for long time and is now an official part of the team. Wayne and I have developed a business plan to move Hennis forward. We are working to reorganize H.E. and streamline our operation to better serve our costumers and reduce operating costs.
H.E. will soon be operating under our new E-commerce web site www.hennisenterprises.com. This site will contain all of the information on our 3000 item product line, with new items continuously added. You or your customers will be able to search, view, and purchase products 24 hours a day. The E-commerce web site will automatically generate real time shipping quotes, purchase order acknowledgements, mailing labels, invoices, and packing slips. This change will allow us to eliminate a lot of potential errors, paper work, and administrative costs while allowing us to provide better service to our customers.
H.E. has negotiated with FedEx Ground and other carriers to carry most of our freight in the future. By consolidating our freight with one shipper, we will are able to lower our freight costs and pass these savings along to our customers. We will continue to work with other freight companies to get the best possible rates for our full length beams. Your payment via credit card will allow us to better control our financial costs as well as allow you to track your purchase and take advantage of mileage and or cash back credits established with your card provider. Existing customers will be given a VIP discount code that will insure they get all allowable discounts.
We envision that all orders will eventually be routed through our
hennisenterprises.com E-Commerce site. During the upcoming transition period we invite you to test drive our E-Commerce site and to use it to place your orders. If you prefer, we also welcome you to use the website as a resource and then to call our office and place your orders directly with our staff. We expect to soon be back in a 2-3 week delivery schedule. We are also back to shipping at least once a week. Our eventual goal is to ship from our Tecate facility daily – further increasing our customer response capabilities.
Hennis Enterprises is evolving to stay competitive in a changing market and continue to provide it’s customers with a quality product and better service. We look forward to your support and a profitable new year.
